Before the explosion of internet websites devoted to “all things teacher”, educators had fewer options for inspiration in regard to curriculum.

Ideas typically came from print or word-of-mouth, which made things particularly challenging for teachers that were early on in their careers.  With the development of the internet, however, a brand new way of sharing ideas became available. Social media websites, including Pinterest, have revolutionized communication between teachers, and it is now easier than ever to find creative ideas for your classroom.
